Chickenhawk have gone through some rapid changes in the last year. Initially forming as a 3 piece back in 2005, Matt Reid (ex-Whores Whores Whores drummer) joined mid 2008 as the début album was due to be released. This new release hints towards where the band is heading, further diversifying and experimenting whilst still keeping the Hawk spirit alive. A. Or Not? harnesses their powerful sound, testing the sonic boundaries as a freaked out riff driven prog force.

Chickenhawk are Paul Michael Astick (vocals/ guitar), Robert James Stephens (guitar), Ryan Thomas Clark (bass) and Mathew Graham John Reid (drums). The band are based in Leeds and are part of the city’s growing experimental rock scene alongside That Fucking Tank, Pulled Apart By Horses, These Monsters, Humanfly, Bilge Pump, & Castrovalva.
