Musical Bingo was created by the crew behind Bring & Share, the original DIY disco. Where you the punter creates the soundtrack with the records you bring for the DJs to play. Now into their fourth year they have produced the next interactive musical experience ‘Musical Bingo’. Think regular bingo but swap numbers for songs; kind of what your Nan would be doing if she was into Dizzee Rascal, CSS, Blondie and Bruce Springsteen.
What is it?
Everyone’s welcome to play and here’s how it works; each bingo card has a grid of squares and in each square is a song title and artist name. Once everyone has their card the sexy host Jess Indeedy introduces the rules and of course, the prizes which could range from a bag of party poppers to meals for two and free cocktails. The games begin as the Bring & Share DJs Helix, Dave O and Jonny Wright play out a fast half hour relay of retro,current and future classics. As the mix plays out, you mark the tunes off your card with a nice
chunky pen to win the prizes. Easy!
Where can you find it?
As part of the Camden Crawl, ‘Musical Bingo’ is heading to the Edinboro’ Castle from 1.30pm onwards. Roll on down and grab yourself a game card for the chance to win super snazzy prizes.
