Liverpool-based trio Elle s’appelle don’t have a guitarist. Which is pretty strange, if you consider that their sound isn’t too different to that of traditional guitar-based bands. Andy, Lucy and Owen formed in 2007, playing their first gig on 1st June at their home city’s Barfly venue. They’ve since played with the likes of friends Hot Club de Paris, Johnny Foreigner and Operator Please.
Debut single, the 7-inch ‘Little Flame’ was released as part of Moshi Moshi’s singles club on 5th November.
