Last year we joined forces with Gigwise to create Indie Idle, a competition for unsigned acts with the winner going on to play a prime slot of the urban festival’s final night. It was such a success that it we have decided to bring it back for a second year!
Once again the winner of the competition will win a slot on the festival but that is not all. The winning act will also recieve TWO days recording at London’s Strongroom Studios and the manufacturing of 500 7″ singles by Key Production.
We’re looking for groundbreaking and exciting acts, if you think that might be you listen up!
To enter all you have to do is send us your latest demo by March 16 either in MP3 format via email or on CD to Gigwise at the address below.
The best 20 demos will be put to a public vote, before the final ten will be heard live in front of an audience at the Red Stripe Camden Crawl itself. The final three will play a set in front of a panel, with the winning act performing on the Saturday evening!
