1997 Camden Crawl Album Now Online!
After making the official 1995 and 1996 Camden Crawl compilations albums available exclusively via our facebook, we now have the 1997 album online!
Back for its third year and now becoming a regular fixture in the festival calendar, the Camden Crawl 1997 was the biggest yet. Featuring yet another great line up of established and new artists playing across the legendary NW1 music venues.
Sticking with the same formula of the first two Crawls, the 1997 programme was housed within the jewel case of the free compilation CD album.
The 1997 official album is now available on line for first time featuring tracks from some of the best acts playing that year.
Highlights from the 15 track album include:
Snow Patrol – Long before the Scottish indie kings were selling out Arena’s and headlining 100,000 + capacity festivals, they graced our stages at CC1997
Silver Sun – The Camden band known for their strong vocal harmonies and energetic choruses
Ultrasound – Andrew “Tiny” Wood’s critically acclaimed band of the late 1990’s who also reformed to play Camden Crawl 2011
Dub Pistols – The London based dub quartet who played a storming set ahead of the release of their debut album
Lo-Fidelity Allstars – The electonica band from Leeds who signed to Skint Records in 1997 and who are still making records today
Tanya Donelly – The former member of Throwing Muses, Breeders and Belly, Tanya went solo in 1997 and played one of her first UK gigs at the Crawl
