Dates announced for Gaymers Camden Crawl 2011

Posted on 27th August 2010 | 01:45 PM | 0 comments

The 2011 Gaymers Camden Crawl will be held over May Bank Holiday weekend; Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May.

The pioneering city festival will once again feature a plethora of exciting up and coming artists alongside your favorite established acts. This, in addition to an extensive day time programme consisting of quizzes, interactive games and puzzles, our increasingly popular comedy stages, spoken word, live art and yet more live music can only result in the 10th ever Crawl being THE place to be over May Bank Holiday weekend.

Tickets go on sale at the end of October and we have a whole host of announcements to wet your appetites before then, including a series of special warm up gigs at a seminal venue and some modifications to how we do a few things after listening to your feedback.

You can get your Crawl fix by viewing our live acoustic sessions, photos and previous years’ line ups on the website or by following us on Twitter - http://twitter.com/thecamdencrawl

After a weekend of fabulous guests, seminal performances, a few surprises and the occasional brolly the photos from the Gaymers Camden Crawl 2010 are up on the website.

You can also view exclusive acoustic performances from; Babybird, Veronica Falls, Surfer Blood, Cornershop, Erik Hassle, I Blame Coco, Gaggle and Delays in the CC:TV section on the website.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone attended and helped make it one of the best Crawls yet. From; watching Teenage Fanclub rock it at Koko, to playing Scrabble Sunday, from discovering your new favorite band in the Blues Kitchen to meandering along the lock during the short but sharp periods of sunshine, plenty (plenty) of fun was had by artists, punters and crew alike and we couldn’t have done it without you.

We are already thinking about how to make 2011 even better! Suggestions on a postcard please…
