Another photo of the queue (Woo! Yay! Etc!). We’ve got our finest down getting the scoop from all the daytime events as we speak, including the first heats of Indie Idle, plus interviews with some of today’s bands starting to filter in. Now, if only we could find a free power point….
The queue for wristbands is backed up all the way around the corner in Hawley Crescent opposite MTV studios. A pack of disgruntled goths are on the prowl in the area, threatening people with Mayhem water based tattoos.

More bands have been confirmed to appear at this year’s Red Stripe Camden Crawl.
Crystal Castles, Metronomy and Bombay Bicycle Club are amongst the latest additions, with Dananananaykroyd, Lucy and the Caterpillar and Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong.

Last year Gigwise joined forces with the Red Stripe Camden Crawl to create Indie Idle, a competition for unsigned acts with the winner going on to play a prime slot of the urban festival’s final night. It was such a success that it we have decided to bring it back for a second year!
