808 State are an electronic music outfit synonymous with the infamous acid house scene of the late 80s and early 90s. Formed in Manchester in 1988, the band took their name from the Roland TR-808 drum machine and the “state of mind” shared by the members. Twenty-one years on and still going strong, the band are set to make their Crawl debut at this year’s festival.
