“Delicate, thoughtful and precise… one of the most fascinating female talents we’ve come across”

For Folks Sake

With a string of acclaimed releases under her belt, experimental folk multi-instrumentalist Rachael Dadd is preparing to release her strongest and most impacting body of work into the public sphere. Two years in the making, ‘We Resonate’ sees Rachael joined by a host of renowned and accomplished musicians for her latest release. Carving out a niche of its own and crossing genres from folk, through pop and experimental, ‘We Resonate’ literally pulses with poly-rhythms from an inventive set of sounds and non-traditional instruments. Rachael’s songwriting hones in on themes of optimism which spread a warm glow over the recordings. She has taken to the stage at innumerate UK festivals including Glastonbury, End of The Road, Green Man, Wilderness, No Direction Home, Truck and toured across the UK, Europe, and Japan. Outside of her own performances and collaborations, Rachel has programmed several events and exhibitions including a fundraiser for Japan’s Tsunami victims at King’s Place and is a practicing and exhibiting visual artist.
