The band formed as a brother and sister duo with Joe Hammill on guitar and lead vocals and sister Helen on lead vocals and keys. The line up has since expanded to include brothers Fran on electric guitar and Vin on Bass with Tom Chapman on drums. Cattle & Cane have had a huge impact on the local music scene on Teeside. Starting out as going from virtual unknowns to performing the the BBC Introducing stage at T in the Park in the space of a year.
Each of their songs is different and highlights the diversity of their repertoire. Still relatively new, they sound like a band that has been together for years and are definitely one to watch out for in the future.
