“each refined listen provokes an internal struggle of elation and melancholy. Music so awesome you don’t know whether to laugh or cry”
Musical Mathematics
The Physics House Band may be young, but they possess musical prowess well beyond their years. Influenced by psychedelic explorers of the 60’s, prog of the 70’s, tech metal of the 80’s, 90’s post-rock and 00’s math-rock, they create impressively innovative compositions with a sound both calculated and unnaturally pure. Their presence through songwriting and performance is highly conceptual due to the many torrents their music flows and conjures fellow instrumentalists The Mars Volta and Three Trapped Tiger in that respect. Following the viral success of their debut video single ‘Titan’, the Brighton based 3-piece featuring Adam Hutchison (Bass Guitar, Keys), Sam Organ (Guitar, Synthesizer, Organ, Effects) and Dave Morgan (Drums) have been performing to an ever-growing fanatical audience across the UK. ‘Horizons/Rapture’, the band’s debut album was released on Blood & Biscuits last year.
