Victoria Hesketh – better known as Little Boots – came top of the BBC Sound of 2009 list of the brightest new music stars with her space disco sound influenced by the likes of Kylie Minogue, David Bowie and Gary Numan. Formerly the lead singer and keyboardist of Dead Disco, Little Boots is set for a big year. She will be touring with the Ting Tings in France towards the end of April and a debut album is expected this summer.
