Camden Crawl best remembers Amy as she performed to a packed and sweaty Dublin Castle as part of the 2007 Camden Crawl shortly following the release of ‘Back To Black’. In true local spirit and as a great supporter Camden’s music scene and the festival alike, she made a stunning appearance that April evening despite having another scheduled show in Bristol on the same night and even hired a helicopter off her own back to return to Camden in time for the show to happen. It was a jaw dropping experience that we will never fail to remember or appreciate. In subsequent years, she continued make a memorable showing at the Crawl each Spring if she was in town. Amy was part of the very fabric of Camden Town’s tight knit community of friends and musicians and will always continue to be remembered as an integral part of the area’s cultural history. We are all very upset to lose such an unbelievable talent bred so close to home and our thoughts go out to Amy’s family, friends, colleagues and everyone who was inspired by her music.
Amy Winehouse you will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
