THE Q&A CRAWL: LADY LESHURR | News | The Camden Crawl 2012

Lady Leshurr has a back catalogue of lyrics most writers would kill for: she’s been making them since she was six. She has become one of the UK’s foremost MCs, crossing genres with amazing versatility. Whether it’s house, hip hop, dancehall or pop, bashment or grime, Leshurr can spit on it – we’re not even hyping her up.

Originally from Birmingham, Leshurr released her first mix tape at 16, appeared in the first ever grime musical, and last year stormed Glastonbury’s BBC Introducing stage. She’s bound for big things, so we caught up with her before she strapped on her rocket pack.
