THE Q&A CRAWL: ROBIN PURSEY, HIP HIP KARAOKE You know that scene in Lost in Translation, where Scarlett Johanson sings ‘Brass in Pocket’, and Bill Murray wonders why Sean Penn won the Oscar for Mystic River? Well, if that scene was set in The Social on Little Portland Street, didn’t feature either Scarlett Johanson or Bill Murray, and replaced The Pretenders with Eminem, it would be a little bit more similar to Hip Hop Karaoke.
Free beer and prizes are the order of the day for those brave or sparked enough to spit their stuff to the bouncing ball. Cute little pink wigs are optional, but answering these questions wasn’t.
